2014 Camps

PRE-SEASON BASKETBALL WARMUP

Who: Bridgewater & Raritan girls and boys in grades 1 through 8.

What: The Bridgewater Recreation Department along with Bridgewater-Raritan High School Boys Varsity Head Basketball Coach Gene McAteer and his staff will provide training on offensive improvement ideas, game situations, and strategies that will enhance individual as well as team performance. Shooting, passing, catching, and ball handling skills will also be taught through fun activities. 

Where: Eisenhower Intermediate School

When: Grades 1 through 4 on Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21, 28, 2014; 6:00pm to 7:30pm 

Grades 5 through 8 on Thursdays, October 9, 16, 23, 30, 2014; 7:00pm to 8:30pm

PRE-SEASON ADVANCED WARMUP

Who: Bridgewater-Raritan girls and boys in grades 4 through 8

What: The Bridgewater Recreation Department is offering an advanced basketball clinic for serious, committed players who have played or are trying out for Bridgewater Recreation Girls Swish or Boys Travel Basketball League. Drills and activities will be geared toward elite players looking to enhance their game and sharpen their skills. The clinic will be run by Bridgewater-Raritan High School Boys Varsity Coach Gene McAteer and his staff.

TEACHER CONVENTION MINI-CAMP

Who: Bridgewater & Raritan girls and boys in grades 1 through 8. What: Sponsored by the Bridgewater Recreation Department, this is a two-day mini-camp that follows the same format as our flagship summer camp. Boys and girls play together and three or four separate age groups will be utilized to promote fair teams and good competition. Half-day and single-day options are available.
